Cincinnati, OH, November 24, 2010 --(PR.com
)-- Money problems are increasing today, but the United Church of God’s new Bible Study Guide lesson “Dealing With Money Problems” at www.freebiblestudyguides.org/bible-answers/dealing-with-money-problems.htm can help.
Designed to provide practical answers and real hope, this lesson explores questions such as:
Is money the root of all evil?
Why aren’t more of God’s people wealthy?
What should we do to avoid money problems?
What does the Bible say about debt and credit?
What is it that people really want that money can’t buy?
The lesson includes links to many helpful related resources such as a budgeting worksheet and provides a practical “Apply Now” section. It was researched and written by Skip Miller, a United Church of God elder in California. He begins the lesson telling the story of lean financial times he and his wife faced:
“We were not making enough money to cover our needs... We managed to almost scrape by—actually going into the hole a little each month. Things got worse before they got better.” The hard-won biblical lessons he learned through this experience help shape this lesson.
This new lesson on money management is added to lessons covering a wide variety of topics, from answered prayer to Armageddon, from the armor of God to worry, and from eating disorders to unemployment.
Mike Bennett, UCG editorial content manager, said, “We want these lessons to be relevant, engaging and life-changing, and we welcome suggestions for future lessons or for improving the lessons.”
The site is frequently updated with new material, and so students are encouraged to sign up for the Bible Study Guides e-mail newsletter. E-mail subscribers will receive updates about all the new lessons, as well as other relevant Bible study material. It’s all totally free, and subscribers can cancel anytime they like.
