Viewers watching the programs are prompted to visit the individual program websites: (www.judgealex.com; www.dontforgetthelyrics.com; and www.5thgradertvshow.com). The fans can register for a chance to win prizes by testing their knowledge of the programs, deciphering clues or answering fun trivia questions.
“Judge Alex” fans solve weekly anagrams using letters they earn by answering daily questions about recent “Judge Alex” episodes. The weekly grand prize winner, drawn from a pool of players who correctly identify the secret phrase, will receive a one-of-a-kind, numbered ceramic Judge Alex gavel, personally designed and created by Alex Ferrer’s wife and signed by both the judge and the artist. Additionally, out of those who unscramble correctly, 100 users are randomly chosen to receive a Gavel Quest Certificate of Excellence, signed by Judge Alex; if users collect 2 certificates, they get a code to download an MP3 of Judge Alex for their outgoing answering machine message. This sweepstakes began in September and runs through November 29, 2010.
“Are You Smarter Than a 5th Grader?” viewers have until December 18, 2010 to visit the program's website and earn entries by answering questions based on recent “5th Grader” episodes for a chance to win MP3 song downloads, a Sony PlayStation®3 or a laptop computer.
“Don’t Forget the Lyrics!” fans can win MP3 song downloads , iPods® with over 8,400 songs preloaded onto them or a PlayStation 3 console with various accessories and extras, by answering trivia questions based on the content of each week’s show. The “Lyrics” promotion ends December 18, 2010.
