UrbanScooters.com is making available for sale the propane powered Go-Ped GSR Pro-Ped Cruiser gas scooter.

South Pasadena, CA, December 03, 2010 --(PR.com)-- UrbanScooters.com is pleased to introduce Go-Ped’s GSR Pro-Ped Cruiser, the first environmentally friendly gas scooter. The Go-Ped GSR Pro-Ped Cruiser gas scooter comes with all the fantastic features found on the GSR Cruiser, plus its got an original new power source.

This Goped gas scooter is powered by an EPA award winning LEHR 25cc four-stroke gas engine. The LEHR propane engine technology won EPA’s Clean Air Excellence Award, approval endorsements from the California Air Resources Board (CARB), and the Propane Education Research Council, and Popular Mechanics 2009 "Ten Most Brilliant Products" Breakthrough Award. The LEHR 25cc propane technology four-stoke engine produces 97% less particulates, and 96% less carcinogens than the traditional gas-powered four-stroke engine. It meets or exceeds strict C.A.R.B. (California Air Resource Board) Tier 2 S.O.R.E. (small off road engines) emissions standards making it the only gas scooter that can be sold legally in California. The GoPed GSR Pro-Ped Cruiser is arguably as good for the environment as electric scooters and only a fraction of the weight. Since 90% of American Propane is made in the United States this scooter even helps reduce our dependence on foreign oil.

The Go-Ped GSR Pro-Ped Cruiser weighs in at only 32 lbs., burns clean and the near-silent four-stroke engine produces greater bottom end torque for the highest efficiency. Additionally, maintenance for the Cruiser is very user-friendly. Finding propane canisters is easy at your local hardware and camping stores, and installing them is a breeze. You simply mount the propane canister in the Pro-Ped motorized scooter’s “canister clamp” and then screw the fuel line to the canister connector and you’re ready for action. There’s no need to mix fuel and oil.
