RealTime Fantasy Sports Releases Fantasy Football Awards

St. Louis, MO, January 26, 2007 --(PR.com)-- RealTime Fantasy Sports (http://www.rtsports.com) announces its 2006 Fantasy Football Paur Awards. This is the second year RealTime Fantasy Sports had their year-end awards.

The Paur Awards take a look at the good and bad from the past season, rewarding the players that helped or hurt fantasy teams.

“It is a lot of fun to take a look back at the season and reward players that made fantasy owners happy,” said RealTime Fantasy Sports senior writer Jeff Paur. “A lot of players deserve credit this season – good or bad – but LT gets the most recognition for his huge season.”

Twelve different awards were given, including Player of the Year, Breakthrough of the Year and Bust of the Year.

Below are the winners:

Player of the Year: LaDainian Tomlinson, RB Chargers; Comeback Player of the Year: Carson Palmer, QB, Bengals; Breakthrough of the Year: Steven Jackson, RB, Rams; Rookie of the Year: Maurice Jones-Drew, RB, Jaguars; Bust of the Year: Eli Manning, QB, Giants; Surprise of the Year: Mike Furrey, WR, Lions.

Position Awards - Quarterback: Drew Brees, QB, Saints; Running Back: LaDainian Tomlinson, RB Chargers; Wide Receiver: Marvin Harrison, WR, Colts; Tight End: Antonio Gates, TE, Chargers; Defense/Special Teams: Chicago Bears; Kicker: Robbie Gould, K, Bears.
