iPad Giveaway Announced by UrbanScooters.com

Online electric scooter and bike retailer, UrbanScooters.com, has announced a giveaway featuring an iPad grand prize. To enter, participants watch a video, then follow a string of clues online to figure out who appears as the gorilla featured in the video. A correct guess gains entry into a drawing for an Apple iPad.

South Pasadena, CA, December 07, 2010 --(PR.com)-- An Apple iPad giveaway was announced on Friday by electric scooter and bike dealer, UrbanScooters.com. To gain entry into this drawing to win an iPad, entrants watch a video titled "Chimpanzee Riding on a Go-Ped" then follow a sting of clues to discover who is wearing the gorilla suit in that video. UrbanScooters.com has posted clues throughout the Internet. A correct guess gains entry into a drawing to win the iPad.

UrbanScooters.com hired an actor to play the gorilla and has provided clues as to who that person is. Some detective is needed to discover the correct answer and entry into the contest to win an iPad.

Easy to find clues are found in a few locations online. Clues have been planted on the contest page, and UrbanScooters.com social networking pages on youtube, myspace, facebook and twitter. Harder to find clues have been planted across the Internet and will require a search engine and ingenuity to discover.

Participants can enter and view contest details, by visiting the Contest Page; http://marketplace.urbanscooters.com/Contest/Chimpanzee-Riding-On-A-Go-Ped-Contest.html

Frank Minero, President of UrbanScooters.com, says, "I’ve got a good feeling about you! Since you’ve gone to the trouble of reading through our entire press release, I'm gonna give you a clue. Are you ready? Here’s the clue: No one who launched a balloon sky high (that could possibly have carried his son) is wearing the gorilla suit in our video. Good luck in the contest!"

The "Chimpanzee Riding on a Go-Ped" video is a parody of the many "Chimpanzee Riding on a Segway" videos that have appeared on youtube over the course of the past year or so. The first “Segway” video is of a chimpanzee named Pan-kun who rides a Segway scooter on a game show in Japan, in front of an audience. This video inspired an entire meme, the most viewed parody video gaining over one million views on youtube. Now there's a new video featuring a "chimpanzee" on a go-ped from UrbanScooters.com.
