WBN Productions Announces Singer/Songwriter TENIN Will Bring Musical Magic to Mid-Town Manhattan

Plainfield, NJ, December 09, 2010 --(PR.com)-- Singer, songwriter and actress, Tenin Baba Ndanani, will perform live at Houndstooth Pub, 520 Eighth Avenue @ 37th Street, NYC on Saturday, December 18, 2010. Doors open at 8:00 p.m. Showtime is 9:00 p.m. With comparisons to Lauryn Hill and Jill Scott, Tenin fuses musical theater flair with soulful gospel roots and hip hop flow for a bold and empowering, yet whimsical sound that is all her own. Honored to perform at the home of Snow Patrol, Tenin will premiere new music from her forthcoming album. As a special year-end tribute to her loyal fans, she will perform her new single “All I Really Need This Christmas”.

“I am excited to play Manhattan! There’s no place like it”, the singer/songwriter said from her New Jersey home during a recent rehearsal. Tenin will be joined by fellow Plainfield musicians (home of Parliament Funkadelic), particularly, master producer Matthew Irby (Phantom Boyz and Warner Music Group) on keys and Hakim Jones on drums. As co-owner of WBN Productions LLC, Tenin writes, performs, produces and engineers her own music.

In addition to finalizing the music for her debut album, Tenin is preparing for her first lead role in the feature film, “Tucht,” based on the real life horrors of child abuse survivors. After a grueling audition process, Andrew Rothkin, a casting consultant and Artistic Director at White Rabbit Productions, said of Tenin, "...there's something magical about her I felt as soon as she walked through that door." Tenin is also in pre-production on “Tenin World”, a reality show based on her experiences bootstrapping her dreams which she looks to sell to a major television network.
