Passages, Inc. Names Leila Perrin 2011 Board President

Houston, TX, December 10, 2010 --(PR.com)-- Leila Perrin has been named president of the Board of Directors for Passages, a non-profit organization based in Houston, Texas that provides residential treatment for women with chemical dependencies. Perrin takes the helm in January 2011, after having served on the Board since 2008, and succeeds outgoing president Jeff Fetzer. She is Vice-President of Marketing for the Better Business Bureau of Greater Houston and South Texas.

A graduate of Newcomb College of Tulane University, Perrin has long been active as a volunteer, supporter or board member in the non-profit and business communities, including the Junior League of Houston; Bo’s Place; River Oaks Business Women’s Exchange Club; the Center for Houston’s Future; and the Greater Houston Women’s Chamber of Commerce, among others.

Since its founding in 1986, and under the operational guidance of its CEO and executive director, Ellen Kirby Joe, Passages has consistently provided an intimate residential community, structured therapy and highly personalized care for women who have completed their primary treatment for alcoholism and chemical dependency.
