Poppo® Brings Poptitude to Kids and Brain Tumor Society

Donation helps to find cure for children with life-threatening brain tumors

Beverly, MA, January 29, 2007 --(PR.com)-- Poppo Brands LLC an innovative new game and toy company passionate about play and enriching people’s lives recently made a donation to Team TJ and the Brain Tumor Society. The Brain Tumor Society is a charitable organization based in Watertown, Massachusetts that exists to find a cure for brain tumors and provide education and support for patients and their families. With the Poppo donation, made possible through the company’s Poppo Fund and “Play for Life” program, the Brain Tumor Society will support those families in times when they need it the most. Poppo Chief Executive Optimist and Founder, Michael Vien presented the check for $3,000 to TeamTJ who organizes various benefits to raise money to help the Brain Tumor Society combat the disease.

“In August, even before we launched our first product or earned our first dollar, our young company made a charitable donation toward helping find a cure for the thousands of children each year who are diagnosed with life-threatening brain tumors. We tapped into some friends, family and co-workers to deliver on our mission to enliven and enrich people’s lives and our brand promise of joyful moments and memories through play, every day. We aim to bring fun, learning and laughter to the lives of children and families by helping infuse play back into people’s daily lives,” said Vien.

Along with this year’s donation to the Brain Tumor Society, the Poppo Fund will continue to donate games and provide financial support to organizations that demonstrate and encourage Poppo’s passion for play and mission to enrich lives. “From the beginning, social responsibility has been at the core of our company philosophy and giving back to communities has been a part of Poppo’s brand promise to enliven and enrich people’s lives. We established the Poppo Fund and our “Play for Life™” program to help support organizations that are dedicated to the improved health, education and entertainment of children,” said Vien.

“We are inspired by the dedication and enthusiasm Team TJ and The Brain Tumor Society brings to enriching the lives of children and families fighting life-threatening illnesses. We are thrilled to be in a position to help them continue in their mission to improve clinical care and to find a cure to help make a difference in the lives of children and their families giving them hope when they need it most. We will continue to find ways to help children Play for Life!”
