Double E Artist, Cindy Hughlett Scores First Number One with "Soar"

Nashville, TN, December 12, 2010 --(PR.com)-- Perry Edge and the Double E Promotions staff would like to congratulate Cindy Hughlett for the success of her latest single, “Soar,” as it tops the CGC Top 100 Chart for November.

This single is close to Cindy’s heart for a couple great reasons. Not only is this Cindy’s first radio number one hit, but more importantly, “Soar” is the last song Cindy wrote that her late father was able to hear.

As strong and talented as Cindy is vocally, her dream is to touch the hearts of as many people as she can, winning souls for the Lord with her song writing.

Double E released “Soar” in August of 2010 as part of their Southern & Christian Country Compilation Disk #154. Hughlett’s single is currently climbing the national Christian Voice, Christian Country Top 100 Chart holding strong at number 36.

Double E Promotions, headquartered in Booneville, MS and run by Perry and wife, Vikki Edge, has focused more on the Country Gospel genre over the last couple years, witnessing the fruits of their labor as many of their clients songs have charted on national Christian music charts, most recently promoting Grammy winning, Statler Brother, Jimmy Fortune’s solo single “In God We Trust”, to number one on the Christian Voice, Christian Country Top 100 Chart for December of 2010 and Country Gospel Great, Sandra Dee’s single, “Keep The Faith” to number one on the Christian Voice, Christian Country Top 100 Chart for June of 2010. In June of 2010 Double E Promotions took home the King Country Agape Fest special award for "Recognition of Talent & Service to Radio & Media Through a Giving Heart."
