DarkBrain.com Launches First Members-Only Title Featuring Top Voice Talent

Warwick, RI, December 14, 2010 --(PR.com)-- Andrew Zar, publisher for the ever-growing web comic studio announced this week the launch of DarkBrain’s newest and edgiest story yet. “Rashida’s Ascension” is a dark, twisted tale of heaven, hell and their eternal struggle played out on earth. “Rashida’s Ascension” launches officially on December 15, 2010 at darkbrain.com.

Rashida, played by adult film star Raylene, is a sweet and innocent young woman who really doesn’t understand why people do bad things. Tabitha Stevens, legendary adult film actress who also stars in DarkBrain’s “Mirror, Mirror” and “Church of One,” portrays Dreyla. No one, including Dreyla, really knows what she is. Her existence is threatening the balance between heaven and hell. Dreyla has a special relationship with Rashida that will determine the very future of our own existence.

Joining DarkBrain for the first time, Doctor Ivan is an independent graphic designer who creates many images for people connected to The Howard Stern Show. In “Rashida’s Ascension,” Doctor Ivan plays Karlen, an ancient and powerful demon who is not happy about recent events with Dreyla and Rashida. Rashida’s Ascension, which is scripted by Andrew Zar and illustrated by Amorim, is scheduled for a 3-issue run.

Readers of DarkBrain’s comics can access Rashida’s Ascension by purchasing an all-access membership that includes early release of the web comic publisher’s other titles like fan favorites “Locked Out,” “The Butcher” and “Mirror, Mirror.” A 30-day membership is $4.99 and a 6-month membership is $24.95.
