Synagogue to Hold "Baby Boomers & Beyond Bar/Bat Mitzvah Bash"

Event is intended to be a fun, lighthearted, reminiscent look back at the years when Jewish preteens did the Bar & Bat Mitzvah circuit.

Glendale, WI, December 20, 2010 --(PR.com)-- Congregation Beth Israel announced today that it will hold a "Baby Boomers & Beyond Bar/Bat Mitzvah Bash."

The event is intended to be a fun, lighthearted, reminiscent look back at the years when Jewish preteens did the Bar & Bat Mitzvah circuit. A Bar Mitzvah (for a boy) or a Bat Mitzvah (for a girl) signifies the child's entry into adulthood according to Jewish law.

"We have a lot of baby boomer members here and we want to hold an event that will celebrate that pivotal time in their lives. They'll be able to relive one of life's most memorable lifecycle events," said Anita Nagurka, executive director of the congregation.

There will be dinner, dancing, reminiscent photos & games from the baby boomer era, and more.

The "bash" will be held on Saturday, January 8, 2011at 7:30 pm at Congregation Beth Israel. It is open to the entire community.
