Fujitsu and RM5 Software Announce a Contract: Fujitsu Credential Management-Service Expands

Fujitsu and RM5 Software announce that RM5 IdM will be implemented to Fujitsu credential management service.

Helsinki, Finland, December 23, 2010 --(PR.com)-- Entitlement Management is the core of e-services. Other identity and access management components rely on Entitlement Management. With Entitlement Management, organizations can ensure that information system users have the appropriate access rights, according to their work assignments and business demands.

RM5 IdM will be implemented into Fujitsu “Patja” and “Sohva” –service models. Through this service extension Fujitsu credential management service will expand to be the most covering Identity and Access Management Software as a Service-solution in the market, according to an independent market study conducted by Secproof in November 2010.

With this extension credential management in “Patja” and “Sohva” service products can also be offered to organization's end users, to be used as self-service.

With RM5 IdM access rights (Entitlements) of information systems can be requested, granted, modified and deleted, both in internal and external services. RM5 IdM also offers versatile and comprehensive reporting and auditing functions for up-to-date controlling of Entitlements. Implementation of RM5 IdM standardizes entitlement management in the organization, optimizes processes, lowers costs and increases data security substantially, when information and control about who has access to what is centralized in one place.
