Epoch Homes to be Featured Speaker at the 2011 Orlando International Builder Show

Dave Wrocklage, Director of Sales & Marketing for Epoch Homes, will be speaking on Green Building and the advantages to homebuyers and builders of choosing to build today’s Modular Homes at the International Builders Show in Orlando, Florida in January, 2011

Pembroke, NH, December 23, 2010 --(PR.com)-- For the sixth year in a row, Epoch Homes’ Director of Sales & Marketing, Dave Wrocklage, has been selected to be a featured speaker at the International Builder Show (IBS) in Orlando, Florida, being held January 12 through January 15, 2011.

Dave will present an educational seminar titled “Less Risk, Less Overhead, Greater Profits: Build Modular!” The seminar is geared towards conventional “stick” frame builders, explaining how the modular building system can provide the tools of a large building company to the small builder through sophisticated marketing programs, lead generating programs, home design and code compliance services. Builders will learn how a green, sustainable high quality custom home can be built faster, better, and less costly in a controlled factory environment. He will also discuss how building modular benefits the ultimate home buyer. Dave believes that “when a technology can deliver a solution that is higher quality, faster to market and lower cost, it is time for consumers to step back and take a second look.” The seminar is sponsored by the Building Systems Council of the National Association of Homebuilders and is AIA certified to provide continuing education credits for architects.

Dave has also been invited to be a panel member for a presentation titled “Why Prefab, Why Green?” which explores the various disciplines of the building systems industry. The panel will discuss the advantages of factory built housing, and how the processes and products are aggressively implementing sustainable and green building practices, and in fact have been doing so long before Green became a buzz word.

“Being invited to speak at the home building industry’s premier annual event is a great opportunity to share new ideas about ways to utilize greener approaches to reduce waste and increase energy efficiency in the building process through adopting the use of modular technology,” said Wrocklage. “In today’s difficult housing market, conventional 'Stick' builders are looking for better ways to serve customers. Custom Modular Homes can deliver high value at a lower cost. It is a great venue to get out the word that prefab is a better, and a greener, way to build.”
