National Protective Services Changes Name

National Protective Services announced today it has changed its name to National Protective Services Institute.

San Antonio, TX, December 23, 2010 --(PR.com)-- National Protective Services has long been known as a top school for anti-terrorism and executive protection training. More recently, the company has begun to foster a reputation as a leader in firearms training as well. With a large variety of classes, from basic security to advanced law enforcement training, and basic first aid to advanced tactical medical training at the paramedic level (partnering with Vanguard Training Institute), students come from many sectors of the emergency services field as well as from across the world.

“We added the word ‘Institute’ to better represent the growth of our school from providing short-term training classes to also providing long-term educational programs,” said Jason McLendon, President and CEO. As current events indicate, the need for professionally trained anti-terrorism and security managers grows every day, and the Institute is poised to fulfill this need. According to McLendon, the National Protective Services Institute will soon also offer academic certificate programs in Anti-Terrorism Program Management as well as Security Management.
