True Stories Celebrate the Ever Present Spirit: A Tale of Spirit, Published by Outskirts Press

Denver, CO, December 23, 2010 --(PR.com)-- Doris Mae Honer today announced the release of her new collection of nonfiction short stories, A Tale of Spirit, Yours, Mine and Lessons from the Universe, Published by Outskirts Press.

The author presents more than two dozen remarkable true life stories to help readers recognize that what is easily passed off as coincidence can actually be the intervention of Spirit in their lives.

“…in the biggest scheme of things,” writes author Honer, “I find we are never alone, and Spirit is with us, a part of us, since the time of creation.”

Honer’s fascinating tales of the Spirit span her life from the 1930’s to the present and take readers from one hair-raising, underwater adventure to a life and death race to save a young boy’s life and on to a tale of close observation of the gentle spiritual life found only in nature.

Readers can find in these stories a clear reflection of their own spiritual nature and can begin to better recognize the presence of the Spirit in everyday life and in all those around them. Honer believes that if people can more fully appreciate being “at one” with each other and with the world, the health of their bodies, minds and spirit will improve and they will no longer be subject to the uncomfortable, but untrue, thought of being utterly alone in life.

“I hope that the many lessons I have learned on my journey will assist others to believe in themselves and to be thankful for the many gifts of the universe which promote our own spiritual growth,” writes the author.

A Tale of Spirit is available on-line in paperback through Amazon and Barnes and Noble and at www.outskirtspress.com/bookstore for a maximum trade discount in quantities of ten or more.
