A Trail of Two Cities Film Released by Harvest Fields Commissioning International

A unique documentary film, “A Trail of Two Cities – Ephesus and Patmos,” has just been released by Harvest Fields Commissioning International and OLI Productions. Three years in production and editing in Turkey, Greece and the U.K., the film colourfully compares and contrasts the two cities and cultures which make up these Biblical cities.

London, United Kingdom, February 01, 2007 --(PR.com)-- There are no two cities quite like Ephesus and Patmos. One is in Turkey, the other in Greece. One is centred around a Greek Orthodox culture. The other, a Muslim culture. One is in Europe, the other in Asia. One is sea centred while the other is landlocked. One is now an archaeological wonder while the other is a growing city. Yet, they both have a story centred in Biblical history that unites them. The Apostle Paul, John and possibly even Mary spent time in Ephesus, out of choice. John, the writer of the apocalyptic “The Book of The Revelation,” written on the island of Patmos, was exiled to this island because if his strong ministry.

Now Harvest Fields Commissioning International and its film producing arm, OLI Productions, has produced a 28 minute documentary film examining the past and present day locations of Ephesus and Patmos. The film has been three years in production and editing and was made on location throughout Greece, Turkey and at the British Museum in London. The documentary unravels the history of the two nations and cultures colourfully and in unusual ways.

The film is produced by the same team that made the award nominated “Awakening Israel,” featured at the Sabaoth International Film Festival, Milan, Italy in 2006.
