Ephraim M. Sykes Makes His TV Series Debut on NBC Primetime

Actor, singer, musician and dancer Ephraim M. Sykes of Bring It On: The Musical makes his television series debut on 30 Rock.

New York, NY, December 30, 2010 --(PR.com)-- Sykes, in his first television role, plays the nephew to Sherri Shepherd’s character in this week's episode which airs Thursday, December 30 8:30/7:30c.

Sykes joins a host of performers, including Broadway talent and award-winning competitive cheerleaders from across the country who have been cast in the world premiere musical Bring It On: The Musical, inspired by the popular Universal Pictures films about rival cheerleading teams, which will debut at the Alliance Theatre in Atlanta early 2011.

30 Rock is an American television comedy series created by Tina Fey that airs on NBC. The series is loosely based on Fey's experiences as head writer for Saturday Night Live. 30 Rock takes place behind the scenes of a fictional live sketch comedy series depicted as airing on NBC; the name "30 Rock" refers to the address of the GE Building where NBC Studios is located, 30 Rockefeller Plaza.
