Radik - Brazilian Artist Releases His Debut Album, "Pera"

Los Angeles, CA, January 07, 2011 --(PR.com)-- Radik's music is unique. In his debut album he explores his melodic voice and rhythmic guitar on 10 tracks, along with musicians such as Rodrigo Braga (Pandeiro), Edu Malta (Bass) and Simon Carroll (Congas, Agogo), among others. The album co-producer and co-musical director, Marcelo Elias, who also plays the piano and keyboards in it, is currently the musical director for Brazilian singer Pedro Mariano, and had worked in the past as a musical director for Sandy & Junior. The album "Pera" is replete with Radik's percussive and melodic guitar style, and the sound ranges from the acoustic work of Radik's playing and singing, to the feeling that only a bossa/samba song, such as "Lendo a Secao Brasil," can represent. Some other highlights within the CD are: "Pera", the song that names the CD; "Amor Nago", a modern 6/8 african candomble rhythm composition; and "Transmutante", another example of Radik's abilities.

Musicians and engineers from Brazil, Canada and the U.S. contributed to make this album a reality, which is now being distributed in the U.S., U.K., and Japan.

Radik's debut album is healing for those who appreciate quality original music, made by an independent artist. Brazilian music is known for its happiness and beauty, and the album "Pera" is an example of these features. Radik has gotten radio air play in San Francisco, Los Angeles and will soon get it in Brazil as well - his home country.
