Iatria Health Center of Wakefield Managing Director to Address Stress Management for Senior Citizens Group

Raleigh, NC, February 02, 2007 --(PR.com)-- Dr. Angela Baylis, managing director and doctor of chiropractic for Iatria Health Center of Wakefield, will discuss stress management at a senior citizens group meeting Thursday, Feb. 8 at the Golden Corral at 5707 Dillard Drive in Cary. Dr. Baylis will offer a lecture on what older adults can do to remove chemical stress from their bodies. Dr. Baylis is a specialist in applied kinesiology, the term most commonly used to identify a pseudoscientific system of muscle testing and therapy. Its basic notion is that every organ dysfunction is accompanied by a specific muscle weakness, which enables diseases to be diagnosed through muscle-testing procedures.

“Senior citizens face special considerations for what they need to practice in order to manage stress,” said Dr. Baylis. “I will provide them with recommendations they can use to lessen the burdens they face in their daily living.”

About Dr. Angela Baylis:
Dr. Angela Baylis heads the Iatria Health Center and offers comprehensive, state-of-the-art natural health and wellness care to her patients. She helps patients achieve optimum results in the treatment of conditions ranging from chronic headaches, accident injury and whiplash to shoulder pain, knee pain, chronic lower back and sciatica. She has been successful in helping women with PMS, menopause, carpel tunnel syndrome, and back pain associated with pregnancy. A native of Winchester, Virginia, Dr. Baylis first realized her passion for chiropractic care at a young age after watching the effects of her mother’s illness. Her mother would often have trouble swallowing and it was then that her mother began seeing a chiropractor who ultimately helped her to recover. The impact on Dr. Baylis so affected her that she decided to work three jobs to become a chiropractor and graduated in December of 1998 as a Doctor of Chiropractic. Dr. Baylis received her Doctor of Chiropractic from Parker College of Chiropractic in Dallas, Texas, and a Bachelor of Science in Anatomy from the same institution. She began her practice at Iatria in 2001.
