Weekly e-Newsletter Designed by Hollister Creative Wins New Product & Technology Award

Philadelphia Corporation for Aging’s weekly e-publication Milestones E-News, which was deigned by Philadelphia area graphic design firm Hollister Creative, won a Bronze in the E-Newsletter category of the New Product & Technology Awards competition.

Wynnewood, PA, January 08, 2011 --(PR.com)-- Milestones E-News, the weekly e-publication of Philadelphia Corporation for Aging (PCA), won a Bronze in the E-Newsletter category of the New Product & Technology Awards competition. The Mature Market Resource Center’s nationwide annual awards program recognizes innovative products and services for older adults and their families.

Philadelphia area graphic design firm Hollister Creative designed Milestones E-News in 2009 for longtime client PCA. Hollister Creative also redesigned the PCA website in 2010.

In each issue of Milestones E-News, PCA aggregates current news headlines and publishes original feature articles on work, leisure, volunteering, food, finances, health and elder care. The content is developed by the PCA Communications Department under the direction of Linda Riley for readers who are 50-plus or caring for an older people. Hollister Creative has produced the monthly print newspaper Milestones for PCA since 2001. The publication -- which is read by more than 180,000 Philadelphians -- delivers “News and Possibilities for Seniors,” written by seniors under the direction of Hollister Creative editor Don Harrison, a 60-year veteran of Philadelphia newspapers. Hollister also provides art direction, photography and graphic design services for Milestones.

Hollister Creative has won National Mature Media Awards for the print version of Milestones every year since 2003.
