2010 Miami University Football Team Wins Inaugural Award

By beating Middle Tennessee State, Miami finished 10-4, including a win over nationally ranked Northern Illinois in the MAC Championship game. Redshirt freshman quarterback Austin Boucher was named the MVP of the GoDaddy.com Bowl by throwing for 288 yards and two touchdowns. Miami’s starting quarterback Zac Dysert was injured earlier in the year and never returned.

Miami was coached by Lance Guidry, who served as the interim head coach for former Redhawk wide receiver Don Treadwell, who was named head coach last week. Treadwell was previously the offensive coordinator at Michigan State.
