Nu-Heat Exhibits Green Wares at Ecobuild 2011

Honiton, United Kingdom, January 14, 2011 --(PR.com)-- Nu-Heat is showcasing its range of energy efficient products - including a number of new additions - at Ecobuild’s Excel debut in March. For those tasked with meeting energy efficiency targets, Eocbuild offers a great platform for experienced renewables providers like Nu-Heat to talk about cost-effective, realistic and achievable implementation strategies.

Nu-Heat’s underfloor heating (UFH) design and supply expertise continues to underpin the company’s leading role in the UK UFH market. Additionally, over the last few years Nu-Heat has invested in the development of skills in the design of single and integrated systems using renewable products including heat pumps, solar thermal, photovoltaic and rainwater harvesting.

With successful systems already provided for national house-builders and RSLs and new projects underway for 2011, Nu-Heat is pleased to offer Ecobuild visitors an insight into how these technologies work and also how their integration can contribute towards higher levels of the Code for Sustainable Homes.

In order to provide a solution to fit any property, Nu-Heat has implemented partnerships with renowned manufacturers Roth for solar collectors and NIBE and Hitachi for provision of a wide range of heat pumps, including Hitachi’s YUTAKI, one of the highest efficiency air source heat pumps (ASHP) currently available, with a potential Coefficient of Performance of over 4.

On show at Ecobuild is Hitachi’s new single fan ASHP, a product that Nu-Heat believes will offer an ideal solution for renewables with relevance to the retrofit market – including social housing and private homes. Although Nu-Heat has supplied the twin fan model for retrofit systems with great success, the single fan facilitates use in smaller properties, fitting nicely under existing window ledges and in more modest gardens.

As the requirements of the Code for Sustainable Homes increase there is a greater need for renewable technologies to satisfy energy requirements. Specification standards for new-build homes have significantly changed in recent years, allowing renewable technologies including heat pumps and solar panels together with underfloor heating to make a positive impact on highly insulated properties.

Also new to the stand is an example of Nu-Heat’s solar photovoltaic (PV) offer. PV has been receiving growing amounts of coverage as one of the ‘saviours’ of electricity supply. PV parks are being planned to help future-proof the UK’s electricity supply and homeowners are being urged to consider fitting panels on available roof-space. For both retrofit and new-build, Nu-Heat provides a full service including installation and performance monitoring.

The Nu-Heat range of products integrates seamlessly to provide energy efficient heating and hot water systems tailored to the individual needs of a property. With the single point of contact, housebuilders and developers can be saved considerable time and effort.

To benefit from Nu-Heat’s experience of designing and supplying integrated heat pump, solar thermal and underfloor systems and our PV and rainwater harvesting solutions, visit Stand S2230.
