Hivelocity Networks Adds IQInvision to Its Arsenal

Martinsburg, WV, February 07, 2007 --(PR.com)-- Hivelocity Networks, a network video surveillance company in Martinsburg, WV, has added the IQinVision product line to its existing line of high quality megapixel video surveillance cameras.

After learning the features and benefits of IQinVision's smart camera systems, Hivelocity Networks was convinced that adding the IQeye family of IP megapixel network cameras was an excellent choice for their company.

"We were really impressed with the quality and features, both hardware and software of these cameras. We highly recommend them to our customers when we go to customer sites and give them a demo of cameras. After seeing the video quality and the many software settings that are available, it's a no-brainer. We look forward to working with IQinVision and offering their products to our customers," said David Overholser, a partner with Hivelocity Networks.

With security becoming more and more important in today's society, they see a great demand for better quality video surveillance and technology. IP video cameras can be accessed from any location that has an internet connection, and smart camera options like motion detection can alert the appropriate security personnel as events occur. Alerts can be sent to computers, PDA's, or even cell phones - eliminating the need for 24-hour on-site personnel for live monitoring. Installing the IQeye is easy and cost-effective with features like power-over-ethernet and IQfocus utility and the simple user interface requires minimal staff training.

The ip video, also referred to as network video, surveillance side of the business is the latest technology for video surveillance security. IP video cameras are a combination of camera and computer combined into one unit. The cameras allow video to be transferred over the network and can be viewed and managed with a standard web browser or video management software. The picture quality is far superior to analog video, such as CCTV. The video can be stored on a regular computer hard drive and the digital video doesn't lose video or image quality like its analog counterpart. Remote monitoring is another big plus for a network camera. The video and images can be monitored and managed from anywhere in the world where there is an internet connection. Analog cameras are closed circuit, so remote monitoring is not an option. Other technologies that the ip video cameras can integrate are motion detection, night surveillance, alerts, face recognition, and people counting. Hivelocity Networks is targeting banks, government offices, schools and more as they see the need for the improved video quality and features that the IQinVision cameras offer.
