Kuching, Malaysia, January 23, 2011 --(PR.com
)-- The Public Health Nursing Conference 2011 will see nurses joined by members of the medical professional including doctors and medical officers, to talk about the key areas of development for the nursing community.
Through a series of workshops and seminars the meeting will see members sharing experience on the best nursing practices for situations along with advice from leading doctors who are set to reveal new theories and principles.
Public health nurses traditionally took on the role of nursing new born children and mothers but now greater duties are required especially in the general health of the community. Often participation in the community in new health projects has been low so the conference will focus on how to get people more involved for the benefit of everyone.
Topics will look at areas such as nutrition, women’s health and care of the elderly as well as new standards being imposed to reduce the spread of infection in medical facilities.
Attendees will be booking a hotel in Kuching
for the dates of 11th to 13th March 2011 when the conference takes place at the Borneo Convention Centre Kuching.
Lek Boonlert, marketing head at DirectRooms.com commented: “The convention is not only for local nurses but national and international experts who will be speaking at the event. Hotels in closest proximity to the centre will be the most sought after so people should book early to get the best places.”
