George Shetuni was born in Albania. When he was nine, his family moved to America. He has lived in Los Angeles and Miami, but calls Columbus, Ohio, his home. He began A Lesson Before Graduating after transferring to Ohio State in February of 2007 and finished it in June 2010, the same month he graduated from college. This is his first novel.
