Environment Cleaning Day at SUNRISE Holidays Resort

Hurghada, Egypt, January 25, 2011 --(PR.com)-- By cleaning the underwater grounds of the beautiful lagoon, four English guests at the SUNRISE Holidays Resort showed their deep appreciation for the environment.

In the course of the regularly held Environment Cleaning Day Mr. Lyndon Cox, Mr. Christopher Cox, Mr. Jason Tamplin and Mr. Graham Walker volunteered to dive in front of the Resort’s beach area and pick up litter and trash. Thanks to their act of responsibility and initiative, all guests as well as the fragile eco system of this part of the Red Sea coast line can now enjoy a cleaned up, naturally beautiful beach.

Needless to say, the Management of SUNRISE Holidays Resort is deeply grateful for their participation and honored the four divers with an Appreciation Certificate which they received after the underwater cleaning by the General Manager, Mr. Tarek El Menshawy.

As one of the three pillars of the company’s philosophy, SUNRISE Resorts & Cruises feels responsible to take action in order to preserve and protect the precious environment of the Red Sea. They know about the importance of a clean and intact environment not only for the guests and tourism business, but also for all other living organisms which make this landscape so unique and beautiful. As all Resorts save energy and water, separate waste and purchase environmentally-friendly products, SUNRISE Resorts & Cruises has been certified by “Earth Check” several times.
