AmeriQuip LLC Announces Plans to Relocate Manufacturing Facility to Texas

AmeriQuip LLC, Houston, TX, announces the relocation of their manufacturing facility to Texas.

Tomball, TX, February 04, 2011 --(PR.com)-- AmeriQuip LLC, Houston, Texas, has announced plans to relocate their manufacturing facility to Texas. The product line includes Eagle towable manlifts, Eagle self-propelled trax manlifts, Eagle hydraulic hammers, Eagle trailers, Eagle atlas beam, and Eagle tire covers.

“We are looking at several different areas across the state, including Houston, Dallas, Fort Worth, Austin, San Antonio, and the Valley. We are excited to move the manufacturing operations to Texas,” said Joel B. Dawson, manager of business development.

AmeriQuip has begun hiring engineers and investigating various facility sites in the metropolitan areas previously mentioned. This move would bring 25 to 30 skilled jobs to the Lone Star state at the opening of the new facility with growth up to 100 jobs.

"It is a fine balancing act going through the new facility site acquisition process," said Wendell Budisalovich, production manager. "On one hand, we have to proceed with caution to ensure the new site will meet our needs not only initially, but for years to come. Then, on the other hand, we do have to move with a certain sense of urgency. We are trying to get this accomplished in the first quarter."
