Wilshire Comedy Group Brings an All-Star Show Back to Popei's Restaurant in Sayville on February 21st

Fan favorite Frankie Pace headlines this great night of entertainment.

Sayville, NY, January 29, 2011 --(PR.com)-- Opening this night of comedy is Alex Barnett. Alex Barnett was born in Brooklyn and was quickly deported to Long Island where he was raised by his parents in an overprotective shell. After peaking academically in high school, Alex meandered through an Ivy League college, law school and a legal career only to realize that his true gift was in making fun of the law, as well as his own neuroses, his raging hypochondria, his height (or lack thereof), marriage, and his relationship issues, particularly his girlfriend’s need to redecorate. Alex has performed at clubs, colleges and venues throughout the country including: Bananas Comedy Club; Broadway Comedy Club; Catch A Rising Star; Gotham Comedy Club; Governor’s Comedy Club; McGuire’s Comedy Club; New York Comedy Club; Stand Up New York Comedy Club; The Brokerage Comedy Club; Joker’s Wild; Harvard University (Sanders Theatre); Penn State University (Harrisburg Campus); and Seattle’s Comedy Underground.

Also on the show is funnyman George Rini. George is a stand up comic who has played all the top clubs on Long Island.

Headlining the show is Frankie Pace. Frankie began as a trumpet player destined for the "Julliard School of Music". Not seeing a future as a trumpeter he went against his father's wishes and soon found himself working as an apprentice plumber for Local #2 in New York City, where he was assigned to help with the construction of The "Towers" of the "World Trade Center." Married and with two children now Frankie still yearned for the arts. With the help and understanding of his wife, he decided to go into comedy. Frankie's first time on stage was in Long Island's "The White House Inn."

A few years later, he was accepted as a regular at New York City's "Catch a Rising Star", "The Comic Strip", and "The Improvisation."

Frankie's first ever national performance was on Saturday Night Live where he met the Not for Ready Prime Time Players.

Frankie can often be seen appearing in "Catskills on Broadway."
