Rockville Creative Produces “Sunkisses” Film for Rebecca Taylor

Film Debuts on RebeccaTaylor.com Today.

New York, NY, February 05, 2011 --(PR.com)-- Rockville Creative Inc. presents “Sunkisses,” the filmmakers’ latest fashion short film for designer Rebecca Taylor. “Sunkisses” is a cinematic expression of the Rebecca Taylor girl as feminine, confident and playful. Whimsical bubble imagery combine with a graceful editing style to reflect the “kinda free, kinda wow” inspiration of the designer’s Spring 2011 collection. The short launches on RebeccaTaylor.com today.

“In contrast to the more narrative “Beautiful Dreamer,” the first film we produced for Rebecca Taylor, “Sunkisses” is purely a mood piece,” says Michael de Avila of Rockville Creative. “We created a wistful and romantic feel in the movie by using vintage film cameras, antique film emulsions and slow motion cinematography.”

“Sunkisses” is the result of Rockville’s ongoing partnership with Creative Consultant Deb McKeand of Worktable NYC, who developed the creative concept of the film. Prior collaboration included a series of film webisodes for Victoria’s Secret PINK and narrative shorts for Calypso St. Barth.

“Brand films are here to stay,” adds Rockville partner, Shannon Goldman. “Once considered cool, creative embellishment, short films are now a key component to a brand’s promotional strategy, sometimes even driving an entire campaign. And with the rise of social media and how easily people interact online, films have now become an expected part of every brand’s web presence.”
