TCM Recording Artist, Chris Caskey Receives Award Nod from King Country Agape Fest

Nashville, TN, February 06, 2011 --(PR.com)-- TCM Records recording artist, Chris Caskey’s first single, “God’s Pocket” just hit radio Jan 1st and he’s already received a top ten nomination nod for the 2011 King Country Agape Fest Male Horizon Award.

Founded by Glorya and her late husband, award winning DJ, Bob Wilson, this year's 11th Annual King Country Agape Fest will be held in Granbury, TX, June 22nd through the 25th and will feature star studded showcases, meet and greets, fellowship and the fan appreciation awards show. But first, all nominated artists must make it through two rounds of voting by the fans. The first round will narrow the top ten artists nominated in each category down to five and take place online January 12th - February 28th on the King Country Agape Fest website.

Although this is Chris’ first release to radio, he’s no stranger to the music industry, being first recognized for his vocal talents by Bob Stegall with Jen Eri Lin Music Publishing and Carson Chamberlain, Producer of Easton Corbin’s latest album, whom was pivotal in scoring Chris an artist development deal with Mercury Records in 98’.

In 2010, Caskey teamed with Artist to the Stars, Corey Frizzell, nephew of the legendary Lefty Frizzell, under his management and quickly joined the TCM Records and Double E Promotions rosters to record, market and promote his new project to radio and internet. Rounding out the Caskey team for all multi media is Bob Coan with New Media Edge.
