Center City Arts (CenterCityArtsErie.org) promotes the healing and transformational power of art and creative expression--not only for those who might be experiencing difficulty, but for all who would like to express themselves creatively. Located in a newly renovated Carriage House studio in the former Rose Koehler Curtze mansion at the corner of 26th and Holland, CCA provides a unique and pressure-free arts experience to those who have recovered or are recovering from a mental illness, and those who assist them in that journey. The studio offers quality materials and professional instruction that enable participants to explore a variety of art forms, including drawing, painting, weaving, fused glass, jewelry, sculpture, metal arts, printmaking, music and more.

A program of Stairways Behavioral Health, Center City Arts is interested in serving the mental wellness of the entire community.
