CEIL’s GOVgreen Announces Call for Presentations

Conference Programming Underway for 2011 GOVgreen Conference and Exposition.

Alexandria, VA, March 02, 2011 --(PR.com)-- The Center for Environmental Innovation and Leadership (CEIL) is now accepting call for presentations submissions for the second annual GOVgreen Conference and Exposition (November 30 – December 1). GOVgreen is targeted to federal government and military decision makers, contractors and consultants who specify or purchase green products and services for government agencies.

Education at CEIL’s GOVgreen Conference and Exposition will provide the requisite information to develop, implement and manage government programs required to meet mandated targets for sustainable design, maintenance and operations. Conference tracks will focus on facilities, energy, transportation and conservation, with special programming for military personnel.

Launched last November, GOVgreen 2010 featured 30 educational sessions presented by more than 90 government, military, academic and private sector leaders. Speakers and presenters represented over 20 federal agencies including the Department of Defense, General Services Administration, Environmental Protection Agency, Department of Energy, and more.

Call for paper submissions will be reviewed by CEIL’s Advisory Council composed of professionals with federal government and military government experience as well as sustainable program experience. Presentations will be evaluated on the basis of the education value for government professionals, contractors and consultants responsible for greening the federal government. Educational sessions include panel discussions, individual presentations, work shops and case histories.

To submit a paper and/or programming suggestion for CEIL’s GOVgreen Conference and Exposition, go to www.GOVgreen.org.
