Charlotte, NC, March 06, 2011 --(PR.com)-- Tom and Janet Schultz, of Schultz Custom Homes and Remodeling in Cabarrus County, NC, are very passionate about what they do. Tom Schultz has been building and remodeling homes for over ten years and believes that the home should always work for the client. This belief has led Tom and Janet to become “Certified Aging in Place Specialists (CAPS)”. This distinction signifies that Schultz Custom Homes and Remodeling is a company that recognizes the needs of all people, at any age.

Tom and Janet Schultz felt that obtaining this certification was of the utmost importance in order to satisfy the needs of all potential clients. “We want people to have choices and be able to visualize spending the rest of their lives in the place they now call home,” says Janet. To become a Certified Aging in Place Specialist, one must undergo an extensive training course, outlining the many ways that one can transform or modify their existing home in preparation for a more mature stage of life.

Since becoming Certified Aging in Place Specialists, Schultz Custom Homes and Remodeling has built home additions, installed modifications, and designed innovative solutions to fit their clients’ needs. Tom and Janet Schultz plan to bring their passion and expertise to this year’s Senior Health and Wellness Day at the Cabarrus County Arena and Events Center. The event will be held on March, 9 from 9 a.m. until 2 p.m., where Schultz Custom Homes and Remodeling will be amongst many other exhibitors offering helpful resources to seniors and their families. Lunch will be provided as well as health screenings, entertainment, door prizes, and much more.

Schultz Custom Homes and Remodeling will be the only exhibitor at the event promoting services for “Aging in Place”. Tom and Janet urge attendees to visit their booth to inquire about different “Aging in Place” solutions they can provide. After doing so, the Schultz’s are certain that everyone will see what attractive and attainable options are available for seniors of all ages.
