H&D Tuxedo and Bridal Launches New Website, iformals.com

New Website Allows Users to Sell their Own Wedding, Prom and Bridesmaid Dresses Online.

Flint, MI, March 11, 2011 --(PR.com)-- The owners of H&D Tuxedo and Bridal have recently launched a new website, iformals (http://www.iformals.com). The site, designed from the ground up by H&D's (http://www.hdtuxedo.com) in-house design team, exhibits H&D's commitment to the needs of bridal customers in today's economy. The new site offers users the opportunity to sell used formalwear online for a negligible fee to clear out closets and put some much needed cash in people's pockets. It also offers shoppers of all ages and genders the opportunity to find fabulous formalwear at bargain prices.

Iformals submits their customers' products to a variety of internet search engines; products are submitted daily to Google and theFind.com. This enables almost instant visibility of products across some of the most visited sites on the web.

Iformals was inspired by daily business at H&D Tuxedo and Bridal. "I can't tell you how many times we have had people looking to save money by coming to our store and asking to rent dresses or to buy damaged or sample gowns at deep discounts. We only have so many samples to sell, and renting dresses is too risky, so we thought, let's come up with some other way to help those trying to save money. That's how iformals was born," says partner, Steve Johnson. "The site
also addresses the needs of those trying to get rid of formalwear they will never wear again," says Johnson.

The site offers users the ability to monitor all of their buying and selling activities within the site. Features include unique pages to track whether an order has shipped, organize your tracking numbers and payment tracking.

All transactions between buyers and sellers is done using PayPal and all of the PayPal buyer protections apply to the site.

Focus

Users of iformals can list any number of items for sale, including all types of formal dresses, wedding accessories (like veils and tiaras), and there is even an area for menswear (like tuxedos and suits).

The goal of the is to give high volume exposure to the low volume seller and making good deals accessible to all.

Design Team

The site's design team was lead by Brad Johnson, Steve Johnson's son, and also a partner in the family business. "We made a great effort to use all of the latest and greatest technologies available to develop the iformals engine. The site makes heavy use of a lot of social networking concepts," says Johnson.

"We designed the site with ease of use for both buyers and sellers in mind." Users can easily interact with product listings to find out more information about a product or seller. Alternatively, it is incredibly easy to post and manage ads. "This project is incredibly user-friendly on whole and should provide an excellent
platform for sellers and buyers to come together," remarks Johnson.
