MBA students Jessica Barnes, AJ Kramer, Adam Leath, Gulcin Menekse and Terry Munroe competed for top honors at the case study competition designed to provide students from MBA programs with real-world experience with mergers and acquisitions, investment banking, financial advisory and private equity. The Jenkins MBA team was honored for having the most polished presentation despite this being its first year to compete. Teams from Duke University’s Fuqua School of Business, Meredith College School of Business, UNC Kenan-Flagler School of Business, and Wake Forest University Babcock Graduate School of Business also participated in the ACG Cup.
“According to one of the judges, it was a close call between the NC State team and the group of executive MBAs from Wake Forest,” said Steve Allen, associate dean for graduate programs and research at NC State University’s Poole College of Management. “It is exciting to know that NC State’s team was so well-prepared, and we are proud to call them our own.”
