Save the Date, May 3rd for Sabre d’Or Bangkok at Rembrandt
On the 3rd of May at the Rembrandt Hotel and Towers, Bangkok guests can learn and test their skills in the noble art of sabrage and enjoy an evening of food prepared by our Executive Chef Andrew accompanied by specially selected Champagne and Wine.
Bangkok, Thailand, March 27, 2011 --(PR.com)-- The Bangkok chapter of the Confrerie du Sabre d’Or would like to invite all to save the date on May 3rd 2011 for another evening of food, champagne and great fun at the Rembrandt Hotel.
Jean Claude Jalloux, Grand Master of the brotherhood, is joining the event from Paris as well as Mr. Roger and Thomas Begault from the esteemed house of Duval for an evening in celebration of the noble art of sabrage. This evening will highlight the exquisite Champagnes of Duval Leroy and the culinary talents of the new Executive Chef, Chef Andrew, for a brilliant evening.
The Confrerie du Sabre d’Or (Brotherhood of the Golden Sabre) is an esteem association that promotes the art of sabrage and the enjoyment of Champagne. It was founded in France over 25 years ago, the brotherhood currently boasts 30,000 members, with events around the world that celebrate the 200 years old technique of opening a chilled Champagne bottle with a saber, knocking off the glass collar surrounding the cork.

Ceremony, dinner and investiture as a Sabreur –7,500 THB net
Ceremony, dinner and investiture as a Chevalier Sabreur –13,000 THB net
For those attending from out of town, we are offering a special room rate of 1,000 THB net
For all members of the Confrérie, we are happy to offer the special price of 5,400 THB net for the ceremony and dinner.
