Milan Fashion Week Press Conference: Fast-tracking New Fashion Designers with IQONS and White Showroom
IQONS.com is an online social network focused on fashion and style for everyone from star designers, stylists and fashion photographers to fashion fans and consumers. On the 13th February 2007, IQONS was officially launched during London Fashion Week with the patronage of key fashion industry figures such as John Galliano, Vivienne Westwood, Alber Elbaz and Maria Luisa Poumaillou.
Milan, Italy, February 22, 2007 --(PR.com)-- White Showroom, the first Milan Fashion Expo focused on the avant-garde was born in 2000 from an original idea of Massimiliano Bizzi. White instantly became a lighthouse for young talents, thanks to a strong appeal to research and an evolving layout image. Entering into its 7th year, this Milan Fashion Week the event is being held from February 22nd to February 25th 2007.
During the Press Conference, IQONS and White will announce a groundbreaking collaboration marking the first of a series of joint projects that aim to spark new fashion ideas and fast-track the acceptance of new fashion design talent.
Project 1 - IQONS Goes White
Thanks to White, IQONS is able to provide 5 IQONS members with free space to display their work at White Showroom. These designers are:

Project 2 – You Wear it Well - Got a Minute?
In collaboration with Diane Pernet and the ‘You Wear It Well’ fashion film festival, IQONS launches an open call/ competition of video clips no longer than 60 seconds focusing on fashion, beauty & style. Voted by members of the community on IQONS.com, the winner of the month will be showcased twice daily on the IQONS homepage and as a special portfolio of the You Wear It Well Festival.
