MotivatEd Ltd, Creators of & ICC Sportee Cricket, Strengthens Its Commercial and Creative Teams

MotivatEd - the eLearning specialists that link online sports-themed gaming for children with the National Curriculum has strengthened its senior management team by appointing former Sky Sports Online managing editor Tony Goodson as commercial director.

Cambridge, United Kingdom, March 18, 2011 --( Goodson, who was the satellite company's first interactive editor, has an extensive career in journalism and new media at a senior level. He took Sky Sports Online from loss-maker to seven-figure profitability in three years and quadrupled web traffic.

Since leaving Sky, he has worked at the Beijing Olympic Games, where he managed the IOC's first online venture with You Tube, at the inaugural Youth Olympic Games in Singapore and most recently at the AFC Asian Cup in Qatar.

He said: "I am delighted to be joining MotivatEd. The youth online market is a rapidly expanding growth area and represents a wonderful opportunity for football clubs and other sports organisations to harness the tremendous interest young people have in sport."

MotivatEd is also excited to announce the appointment of award winning author Tim Knight as Managing Editor.

Tim has 20 years’ experience of writing for domestic and international audiences including schoolchildren, students and educators. He is a qualified teacher and author of 10 children’s books for the Key Stage 2 curriculum, published by Oxford University Press and Heinemann Library.

Tim has written the creative content for numerous educational websites and has won several writing awards including, most recently, BBC Wildlife Magazine Travel Writer of the Year, 2010.
