New Bottle Caps from Rings & Things Are Tops

Spokane, WA, March 18, 2011 --(PR.com)-- New bottle caps for jewelry-making, from Rings & Things, are tops. Made in the USA, these are food-grade (but unused). These “bottle crowns” have no rubber lining, so they are ready to use in jewelry designs. The exteriors are painted and the bottle top is lacquered against rusting. Designers can choose from chrome finish, zebra stripe, or 14 colors, in four sizes from adorable through standard to super-jumbo. Also available is a flower-shaped cap, for designs that really bloom.

Bottle caps work great as bezels for custom jewelry: pendants, pins, rings, bobby pins, cufflinks, tietacks, wine charms, button covers, belt buckles, and earrings, plus magnets, mosaics and reliquaries. To make bottle-cap jewelry, crafters can simply insert an image cut to size. The image is glued into the cap bezel with Hypo Cement or Eco-Glue, optionally covered with a glass tile/bezel, or sealed with Magic Glos UV or Easy Cast resin. Bottle-cap necklaces look great with a pendant made of a bottle cap either drilled and jump-ringed, or joined to a glue-on bail or jewelry blank with E-6000 adhesive, and then strung on ball chain.

Rings & Things’ popular, free Design Gallery at http://www.rings-things.com/gallery shares inspirations and secret trade tips for making superb bottle cap craft jewelry.
