The Crucible Cheers on Marathoners with Fire

The Crucible Hosts a Fiery Cheer Station for Oakland Marathon Participants.

Oakland, CA, March 18, 2011 --(PR.com)-- The Crucible (www.thecrucible.org) will host a fiery cheer station on Sunday, March 27, 2011 for Oakland Marathon participants. Runners and walkers will have the opportunity to pass under a fire lit metal arch and receive a sticker from The Crucible boasting that they have run through fire that day. The Crucible will also be sponsoring a stage on the corner of 7th and Union Streets with the rock n’ roll band “ARIEL.”

Anyone wishing to cheer on marathoners and groove to some rock n’ roll can join The Crucible at 1260 7th Street. The first runners are expected between 9:30-10AM.
