This result provided for world-wide attention and underlined the good work of the IAPP.

Furthermore OLED-display.net and Prof. Dr. Leo discussed what explanation hides behind these record values.

"German companies can take it up at the OLED, but I don’t think so at the for business interesting Aktiv-Matrix displays, because the most Know-How is concentrated in Asia," said Prof. Dr. Leo about the competition of German, US and Asian companies.

The interview partner also mentioned that the mass production of AM-OLED displays (Active Matrix OLED) will take up by some companies in this year.

Not only at monitors and displays can score the OLED technology, also in the lighting industry the OLED – technology will win at meaning in the near future.

The leader of the IAPP said following statement concerning the breaktrough on the market: "At least smaller AM-OLED Displays for example at mobile phones will arrive very well at the market. Furthermore I will expect a very good development for OLED-shields and special OLED- lighting practice."
