Le Meridien Amman Associates Spend a Day in Elderly Homes

Amman, Jordan, March 21, 2011 --(PR.com)-- In celebration of His Majesty King Abdullah’s birthday, Le Meridien Amman has presented Dar Essalam and Golden Age elderly homes with packages of covers, pillows, cushions, curtains and duvets.

"We are thrilled to be able to make this donation," stated Giuseppe Ressa; General Manager of Le Meridien Amman. “The emotional, physical and monetary contribution to elderly homes is part of our responsibility towards the community, especially to those who spent their lives in serving this country and in laying the foundation which we currently stand so firmly upon, under the guidance and wisdom of the Hashemite leadership.”

The associates of Le Meridien Amman extended emotional support to the elderly by spending a day in these homes, where they entertained them with reading, games and various mental and physical activities. It is worth mentioning that in 1990, the UN has declared October 1st as the National Day of Older Persons, which focuses on caring for the seniors in all pertaining aspects, a mission that Le Meridien Amman takes seriously.
