Pterano Dante Writes Literature for the New Millennium

Berlin, Germany, May 04, 2011 --(PR.com)-- The author, writing under alias, goes an unusual way; after many years of insights into the practice of the conventional book industry, Pterano Dante publishes his book on-line.

"For a creative mind, the new media does offer possibilities that lie far beyond the horizon of the respective viewer," Pterano Dante says. "The effort to work on a book, the illustration, is also an exercise of meditation. Far from the pressure by deadlines, you can make formative arrangements that you know from old monastery books."

In this way, "The endlesss Yshift" is a work grown gradually, it will function on various contextual levels of the satire on society and language.

"The endlesss Yshift" is a linguistic-experimental opus. In the tradition of the world greatest humorists, addressing likewise - in a unique mixture of science fiction, fact and comedy - the "poetry slam" to a new level.

The philologist August Schleicher wrote in 1868 a fable in the Indo-European language (which did not exist in this form) and created a test-field for linguists. "The endlesss Yshift" goes another way - where the vocabulary of the book, published in German and English, is based on common language roots for the first time.

Even the production of "The endlesss Yshift" is unusual: instead of the industry-dominating software for illustration and print, the book was produced with the aid of programs from open-source scene (systems BeOS 5.0.3 and Debian 5.0.4 - 6.0).

Pterano Dante:

The author lives and works in the surrounding countryside of Berlin. He is an IT, digital photography, graphic and DTP expert. His plan for the next consideration is a conversion, "e-book experience for (quasi) all senses."

Particularly designed for use in digital readers clubs, you will find "The endlesss Yshift" exclusively under: http://stores.lulu.com/3asMedia.

Country:

In the midst of glacial formed nature parks and a huge number of historical areas (over the epoch of the Templar activities up to Frederick the Great), ignored by the established industry, the region develops, since the fall of the Berlin Wall, to the German "Redmond" - there are no important chemistry and pharmaceutical companies, but a lot of modern technology like solar energy and wind farms.

The involved companies:

3as

3as is a label originated with the book, thought to be a loose union of media artists and a point of approach for the open source scene and companies. Main objectives are multimedia experiences, developing on the potential of contemporary forms of presentation. In a side line, traditional printed media come on the market - as attractive art publications that should not be lacking in any book collection.

Without inherited waste and frozen structures, 3as sees chances where others may lament about economic damage by the Internet.

3as sets on fresh ways for process and communication, e. g.: on "Google Book Search" as a synonym for browsing in book stores and on "Creative Commons" as a welcome option to say clearly to the fans what they can do with our works and that leaves the original authorship completely untouched.

For the production, 3as uses open-source programs from the fields of deployment: text, graphics, DTP - primarily on the system "Debian 6.0".
