)-- Although attempts were made to repair the truck, getting it back on the course unfortunately wasn’t possible. The only injuries reported were to their pride.
The Mint 400, one of the most famous off-road races in history, covers a 100 mile loop course North of Las Vegas, Nevada. Racers take on the course four times for a total distance of about 400 miles. Many of the elite Trophy Truck class entrants were unable to finish Saturday's difficult race.
Prior to the race on Thursday, the entire racing crew attended the Mint 400 FanFest party on Freemont Street in Las Vegas. The team's title sponsor, Canidae Natural Pet Food Co., had their display next to the team's vehicles. Canidae Pet Foods offers pet owners the finest natural and holistic dog foods, cat foods, and gourmet pet treats. The Canidae booth is always a fan favorite at racing events, with pet owners stopping by hear how Canidae products can help their pets be happy and healthy.
Next up for Team Canidae is the famous Best in the Desert Bilek Racing Silver State "300" this April 29th through May 1st.
Canidae Racing would not be able to compete at this level if not for the support of their sponsors including Canidae Pet Foods, Lucas Oil, BFGoodrich Tires, Magnaflow, KC HiLites, Torco Race Fuels, Tap It Brewing Co., JE Pistons, Fox Race Shox, Geiser Bros., K&N Air Filters, Racepak Data Systems, CalTex Freight, McKenzies, Specialty Fasteners, XRP Hoses and Fittings, Norco Tires, and RSP Shock Prep.
