AriesWorks Entertainment Announces 2011 Call for Entries to the 9th Annual Wild Rose Independent Film Festival

AriesWorks Entertainment announces the April 15th Call for Entries to the 9th Annual “Wild Rose,” the longest continuously running, fastest growing international film festival in Iowa.

Des Moines, IA, April 06, 2011 --(PR.com)-- Established filmmakers worldwide are invited to send their best features, shorts, documentaries and animated work to the “Wild Rose” at ariesworks or withoutabox to compete for prestigious screening slots and the WRIFF’s many awards in multiple categories including: cinematography, writing, production and sound design, editing, acting, directing, casting and many others.

The Wild Rose Independent Film Festival will be held November 3-10 at the Fleur Cinema and Café in Des Moines. This artsy, hip and indie-friendly theatre/coffee house/bar/cafe has proven to be a fun and convenient venue also allowing attending filmmakers and audience close proximity to a wide variety of shops, restaurants, bars and music. Just 5 minutes from both the Des Moines International Airport and Downtown Des Moines, the Fleur has proven to be a very popular location.

Bringing in renowned film industry experts and celebrities from across the country, the Wild Rose also hosts informative industry Workshops, a Filmmakers Panel featuring esteemed professionals and a Keynote Speaker for the exciting Awards Ceremony.
