Barrie, Ontario, Canada, April 07, 2011 --(PR.com
)-- Photography Corner (www.PhotographyCorner.com) has announced a new Contest Corner Challenge open to all members of the popular photography community. The latest challenge asks photographers to photograph a scene that has the "unexpected" plastered all over it. It could simply be the emotion shown on someone's face (surprise, shock, fear, etc), or an elaborate story captured in a photograph (seconds before an accident, receiving bad news/good news, etc)- it just has to be obvious that the theme of the photograph is "unexpected." A challenge winner will be chosen after a 1-week voting period by PhotographyCorner.com members when the contest ends on April 20th, 2011. The site began offering Contest Corner Challenges in July 2004, and new challenges are issued approximately a dozen times per year. The prize for the current challenge is a custom canvas gallery wrap courtesy of Nations Photo Lab.
Photographers who join PhotographyCorner.com have the ability to enter one photograph for each of the Contest Corner Challenges. In an effort to make the contests fair for all members, only photographs taken during the time of the contest can be entered, and only minor post-production photo manipulation can be used.
Contest Corner Challenges at PhotographyCorner.com are issued to site members in the community’s forum and on the Corner Blog. Premiere Members of Photography Corner (requires a yearly or lifetime subscription) are eligible to win some of the larger prizes, but all members of the site are always invited to submit photographs to the contest and to participate in the 1-week voting window to vote on contest winners and discuss submissions after they have all been received.
