Magnolia Creek Treatment Center for Eating Disorders Donates 45 Days of Residential and/or Partial-Hospitalization Treatment

Birmingham, AL, April 08, 2011 --(PR.com)-- For the second year in a row, Magnolia Creek Treatment Center for Eating Disorders is providing a comprehensive eating disorder treatment to those most in need through partnership with the Manna Scholarship Fund. Together, Manna and Magnolia Creek will award 90 days worth of treatment to a qualified, needy individual who could not otherwise afford help.

The Manna Scholarship Fund will hold their 3rd Annual MannaTee fundraising golf tournament on Friday, June 26th, 2011. Monies raised at this event will be used and matched by Magnolia Creek to provide comprehensive eating disorder treatment to someone currently struggling and in need of intensive care.

“We are so very excited to once again have this opportunity to partner with such a wonderful organization and make a real difference in someone’s life,” explains Dr. Nicole Siegfried, Clinical Director at Magnolia Creek.

“From our beginnings, Magnolia Creek has been one of Manna's most loyal partners and continues to serve as an ongoing ally for our cause,” adds Dr. Genie Burnett, founder and Executive Director of the Manna Scholarship Fund. “Together, we are changing lives.”

Through scholarship provision again in 2011, both organizations are thrilled to continue what appears to be a long-standing partnership of hope and care. Manna’s thorough application process combined with Magnolia Creek’s high-quality and accredited level of care will enable one deserving individual the opportunity to heal from their eating disorder and move on with their life.
