New Argentine Tango Event Coming Soon, the Only Milonga in the Phoenix Area to Appeal to a Youthful and Energetic Crowd

Tango Chaud (pronounced: Tango Show), is a new cultural arts entity, promoting energetic Argentine Tango events (Milonga) in the Phoenix area. Argentine Tango is a passionate and intimate dance that leaves a strong impression on those who try it. The upcoming event is set to coincide with the First Friday’s Art Walks in the Downtown Phoenix Roosevelt neighborhood. The first opening event will be held on Friday, April 22nd. After that, the event will be held on the first Friday of the month.

Phoenix, AZ, April 13, 2011 --(PR.com)-- Tango Chaud is offering a complete beginner crash course in Argentine Tango, so that anyone new to tango will be able to learn and start dancing immediately. The evening starts with a beginning class in tango at 6:45pm, followed by an intermediate class at 7:30pm. April 22nd’s intermediate class will focus on style and tango lunges, though the topic for the intermediate class will differ each time. Open dancing is from 8 to 11pm.

The milonga is open to the public; admission is only $5 and includes the lessons. A partner is not required. It takes two to tango so come with a partner, or meet new people at the milonga.

This cultural event is unique and one of a kind for the Phoenix area. The Just Breathe venue is stylish and in a youthful and lively neighborhood while the music is modern and lively. Referred to as Nuevo or alternative, the music includes updated recordings of traditional tango music, as well as a mix of modern Argentine, French and American R&B artists such as Gotan Project, Yann Tiersen and Beyonce. This is the only Milonga in the Phoenix area that caters to a younger crowd that is interested in dancing (or learning to dance) tango in a chic venue with modern music.

"Tango chaud is around to give the 20 and 30 somethings a place to go for tango...a place with energy, sex appeal and romance...a nice place to take a date or to meet someone new! If you’ve never done it before, try the beginner lesson. If you already know how to tango but want to learn some cool new moves then go to the intermediate lesson. If you’re running late, then just get there in time for the open dancing." -Jeffrey Tinius
