A Tucson-Based Carbon Fiber Manufacturer Aims to Double Its Dealer Network to 150 by Year End

Tuscon, AZ, April 25, 2011 --(PR.com)-- StrongHold™ Basement’s Carbon Wall Repair Systems have been used to repair over 5,000 homes, as of December 31, 2010. This work has been achieved by a growing group of 75 StrongHold certified contractors within the United States and Canada. And because of this growing network of dealers that have adopted StrongHold’s repair kits into their line of products and services, StrongHold is forecasting to double its sales force in the next year.

StrongHold is a brand under the HJ3 Composite Technologies™ family of brands and serves both residential markets for bowing wall repair, cracked wall and floor repair needs, as well as commercial buildings and parking garages. To become a Stronghold dealer, installers are required to participate in both classroom training and on-site installation training with a Stronghold factory representative. John Huedepohl, StrongHold Sales Engineer, states, “We believe that hands-on training with our dealers is the best way to work. We’ll travel to them for this training so that their team of installers, salespeople and engineers can get to know our technical experts and gain hands-on experience under our guidance.”

StrongHold’s training program ensures that all StrongHold dealers reach a high level of quality prior to performing repairs for homeowners. One certified dealer, Pete Burges from North Carolina relays how happy he is with the StrongHold products and how happy he is with the training service HJ3 provides. He says, “…It’s such a great product line and again we’re so happy about the marketing support, training support, sales support, and technical support from HJ3…”

After the certification process and contractors begin to use the StrongHold materials, they are able to utilize the engineering services provided by HJ3’s engineering team. According to Burgess, HJ3′s engineering support was needed on one particular job, which was beyond the scope of the repair kits. He says, “…we sent the pictures out to HJ3, to HJ3’s engineers… and they made the recommendation on what we should do… John Nighswander actually flew into town and assisted us, and gave us some advice during the installation. He provided some additional training on some other StrongHold products, and it was a very interesting learning experience for us and our crew members.”

Since HJ3 has certified a multitude of dealers who are using their carbon wall solutions more than ever, and since the news has spread on the benefits of carbon fiber over steel for basement wall repair, StrongHold expects its contractor network to double in the coming year. John Huedepohl predicts, “We aim to certify another 75 dealers this year for a total of 150 StrongHold dealers. And with that said, we anticipate the number of homes repaired by our StrongHold repair kits to double by the end of 2011.”
