Glendale’s Arrowhead Grill Offers Easter Sunday Brunch on April 24

Specially selected Easter Brunch menu from Charles Wade Schwerd offered from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Glendale, AZ, April 15, 2011 --(PR.com)-- Easter Sunday 2011 brunch at Arrowhead Grill means the choice of roasted leg of lamb, honey-baked ham, an 8-ounce Prime Rib, 10-ounce Delmonico steak, Atlantic salmon or swordfish.

Chef Charles Wade Schwerd’s special menu will be available at his west Valley restaurant from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Sunday, April 24, and will also include Eggs Benedict, Surf and Turf and a roasted half chicken. The cost is $35.99 per person and reservations are required.

A delicious Arrowhead Grill side will also be included, with the choices including honey glazed carrots, sauteed asparagus, AG hash browns, maple mashed sweet potatoes, sauteed green beans, creamed spinach, sauteed mushroom and onion, baked potato, creamed corn or mashed potatoes.

“Our sides were selected to complement the main courses perfectly,” Schwerd said. “Our Arrowhead Grill servers can suggest the perfect combination for a memorable meal or you can pick your own if you’re feeling adventurous.”

Dessert will also be offered for an additional $5.99 and will include the choice of the restaurant’s signature butter cake, creme brulee vanilla, strawberries and chocolate fondue as well as chocolate bread pudding.

Schwerd’s 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. brunch schedule leaves plenty of time for families attending church in Glendale. The city is home to churches of many faiths, including Christ’s Church of the Valley, Camelback Community Church, Vineyard Church, CrossPoint Church, TCAA, Church on the Word and Covenant International Church.

“Easter should be a time spent with family, not spent cooking,” Schwerd said. “This year, let us do the cooking while you make the memories.”

Schwerd has spent the past two decades carving out a reputation as one of the Valley’s finest chefs. His passion for food left an indelible stamp on restaurants such as Mastro’s Steakhouse, Mastro’s Ocean Club and Drinkwater’s City Hall Steakhouse, where he was founding chef, and most recently, John Elway’s Steak House in Denver, Colo. Schwerd also co-owns Blu Agave Arizona Kitchen in Peoria, Ariz.

Opened in 2008, Schwerd’s Arrowhead Grill has made a name for itself as a top Valley dining destination with its all-natural steaks carefully selected for their premium cuts and broiled to perfection as well as its daily fresh seafood offerings and exquisite desserts.

Arrowhead Grill is located at 8280 W. Union Hills Dr. (Loop 101 and Union Hills) in the west Valley. To make a reservation or for more information, please call 623-566-2224 or visit www.arrowheadgrill.com.
